Great Women of Gaming
Award Categories 

    The Great Women of Gaming award categories are designed to recognize the exceptional contributions of women from all levels and all industry sectors. We encourage nominations honoring women from lotteries, casinos, manufacturers, online gaming, sports betting, system suppliers, other suppliers and vendors to the gaming and lottery industry, law firms, marketing firms, and more. We are interested in receiving applications that cover a broad spectrum of women who are entrepreneurs or employees of companies big and small in the industry. 


    Rising Star

    The Rising Star award is designed to recognize the talent and determination of tomorrow’s leaders in gaming. Candidates have demonstrated the ability for self growth and the ability to help others grow. Candidates have gone above and beyond their job category to stand out as a Leader. To be considered, a nominee must meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum of three years in a gaming related field with at least one year in present position with a maximum of seven years experience.

    Game Changer

    The Game Changer is a pioneer in gaming. She has blazed a new trail, challenged the status quo, or demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit. The Game Changer may have started a new business, changed the way business is done, or created a whole new category. To be considered, a nominee must meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum of five years in a gaming related field.

    Service Star

    The Service Star is the champion of a customer service culture. She creates a customer experience that stands apart within the Industry, ensuring that service is interwoven into the fabric of the team she works with or the great organization. She may work in housekeeping, work on in manufacturing production or order fulfillment. This woman understands the relationship between internal and external customer satisfaction. To be considered, a nominee must meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum of three years in a gaming related field with at least one year in present position
    • Management level employee

    Leadership

    This candidate has established herself as a leader and role model. She has a proven track record and a high level of achievement, serving as a role model to other women in the gaming industry. She has achieved success in her business and has guided others as a mentor or sponsor to achieve what they might not have thought possible. To be considered, a nominee must meet the following criteria: 

    • Minimum seven years gaming related experience
    • Vice President or above 

    Lifetime Achievement

    This proven Industry leader has established a legacy of success within the gaming industry. This candidate has set herself apart by making a significant, long term contribution to the Industry, organizations in the industry, and those around her. This leader is recognized for her passion, persistency and her positive impact. She has demonstrated a vision that has lead to outstanding achievements. To be considered, a nominee must meet the following criteria: 

    • 10 or more years in the gaming industry
