How long have you been in a Lean In Circle?

1 year

Tell us 1 or 2 specific things that you have benefited from being in your circle

Realizing and seeing for myself truly how many women are in the gaming space at so
many different levels of their organizations. Having someone else to not just relate to,
but also, in some cases, experience similar issues I have and discuss how to overcome them.

What is the biggest obstacle in your career that you were able to overcome?

Honestly the phrase "you are your own worst critic" comes to mind in terms of my own biggest obstacle. Being able to overcome self-doubt and imposter syndrome took years of work and practice. For something that impacts so many women, I'm happy that it's becoming less taboo to discuss and that resources are more readily available.

If someone was on the fence about joining a Lean In circle, based on your own experience, what would you tell them?

If someone is on the fence about joining a Lean In Circle, I would say that all women
join circles for different reasons. All of those reasons are recognized and supported in
some way, whether you're just looking to network or you want to advance professionally or simply want a space to speak with other women. Having the group support you, along with the full weight of GGW behind it, is so uplifting no matter what I'm trying to achieve.

What is something most people don't know about you?

This is always a fun question to answer because my response is "no". I'm such an open book and often find myself sharing what some may consider to be intimate details about myself as a means of breaking down taboos and better relating to others. I find this vulnerability to be really reaffirming and genuine especially as a means for developing connections.
